- Orthopedic Hand Surgeon in the Great Lakes Bay Region
Description
Covenant HealthCare is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to join our premier Orthopedic team in Saginaw, Michigan. This is a high-volume opportunity designed for a surgeon who wants a balanced mix of clinical autonomy and robust institutional support.
You will step into a practice with a sophisticated referral base, including a direct pipeline from Covenant Occupational Health, ensuring a consistent flow of upper extremity and worker’s compensation cases from day one.
Practice Highlights
Balanced Schedule: 3 days of clinic and 2 days of OR per week.
Advanced Facilities: Dedicated OR block time within our facilities.
Infrastructure: Access to high-end operating microscopes for microvascular, nerve, and vessel repairs, along with a full inventory of hand-specific instrument sets (including Synthes hand sets and mini-drivers).
Expert Support: Highly skilled OR first assists and a collaborative relationship with Mary Free Bed (MFB) for on-site Certified Hand Therapists (CHTs).
Call Rotation: Join a stable group of 11 surgeons with a manageable call of approximately 4 call days per month, general orthopedic and hand call rotation.

Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Fellowship trained in Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery.
- Ability to obtain a Michigan Medical License.
