Orthopedic Hand Surgery Opportunity in Rock Springs, Wyoming

A respected community hospital in Southwest Wyoming is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Orthopedic Hand Surgeon to help meet growing regional demand for specialized care. This opportunity offers a balanced mix of hand surgery and orthopedic procedures within a collaborative surgical team. Practice Overview

• Join an established orthopedic team of two surgeons within a full-service community hospital
• Broad case mix including hand surgery along with general orthopedic procedures and sports injuries
• Dedicated OR block time with access to robotic-assisted surgical platforms and modern surgical equipment
• Outpatient clinic includes multiple exam rooms and procedure space with full hospital surgical support

Schedule

• Monday-Friday practice structure with one hour of daily administrative time
• One dedicated surgery day each week with blocked operating room time
• Average patient volume of approximately 16 patients per day

Compensation & Benefits

• MGMA-aligned base salary with additional earning potential
• Up to $90,000 in student loan repayment over three years
• Six weeks PTO, CME allowance, malpractice with tail coverage, and 401(k) with employer match

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training in Hand Surgery preferred
• Comfortable managing both hand cases and broader orthopedic procedures
• Eligible for medical licensure in Wyoming
