Bon Secours - coastal Hampton Roads - Virginia Orthopaedic and Spine Specialists in the beautiful Harbour View area of North Suffolk is adding a PM&R - Physiatry MD/DO to our team!
Located near Kroger, shopping, restaurants and new residential buildings including luxury apartments and stunning homes near the water, minutes from I-664, Suffolk, Chesapeake and Norfolk.
We are a busy practice with more referrals than can be currently be accommodated. Wait time for consult currently 3+ months between our 3 MDs and experienced NP on the team.
- MD or DO - BC/BE in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Fellowship training in Interventional Spine preferred, not required
- BLS, ACLS required
- Current and unrestricted Virginia practice license or ability to obtain required
- Experience in practice highly preferred
- New grads will be considered
- Start date will be 120 days after having signed offer - prefer 2026
- 8:00-4:30 Mon-Fri
- Physicians take own practice call except when on ATO; no RX refills after hours
- 100% OUTPATIENT interventional spine procedures, including fluoroscopic ESIs, facet injections, RFA, SI joint injections, and related procedures, EMG preferred
- Lab, Xray, EMG Ultrasound
- Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible PM&R physician with a strong interventional spine focus. Excellent opportunity for both new and experienced physiatrists to thrive in a collaborative, outpatient-focused environment. Provide outpatient musculoskeletal (MSK) and spine evaluations. Perform EMG/NCS studies and Interventional pain procedures.
- Works closely with our Orthopedics, team: Orthopedic Physicians, Advanced Practice Clinicians, Physical Therapists , and Occupational Therapy
- 1:1 Clinical support, as well as Admin support in the practice and an Xray tech and procedure scheduler
- EPIC EMR - MyChart for virtual health as appropriate
- 3 practice locations - Norfolk, Suffolk, Portsmouth - all 15 to 30 min apart - one location per day

Position has a guaranteed base comp for two years and then is base plus wRVU. Quality initiative and Value Based Care bonus potential annually. Includes medical malpractice coverage with tail coverage. Generous CME allowance, 35 ATO days annually, sign on bonus, loan assistance, robust and comprehensive benefits package including retirement.
