Karl Hager Limb and Brace located in sunny Edmonton, Alberta is an industry leader with over 45 years experience, specializing in lower extremity bracing and prepreg carbon fiber orthoses. We currently have a full suite of advanced equipment including Amfit digitizer and mill, large capacity 3-axis carver, and a foam block production system. We are looking for a committed and highly motivated technician to become part of our organization. The successful candidate will be tasked with executing a range of technical manufacturing duties. This position demands attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Orthotics Prosthetics Canada certification with 5+ years experience ideal, intern, and equivalences to be considered
Knowledge and experience in the following preferred but not required:
Comprehensive orthotic device fabrication for all ages – children to seniors
Carbon fiber laminations including prepreg carbon fiber
Strong technical and communication skills
Team minded, self-motivated technician who is personable and dependable
Willingness to grow into a position of responsibility
